J2SE/J2EE Developer

Description

• Key Responsibilities include:

• Maintenance of existing client/server and web-based applications

• Write, maintain and execute QA test scripts

• Write and maintain both internal and user documentation

• Troubleshoot client/server and web-based applications in a production environment

Required

• Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years J2SE/J2EE development experience 

• Knowledge of current wireless technologies

• Client/Server application development/deployment experience

• Experience deploying applications in a WebLogic and/or JBoss application server environment

• Experience developing software (i.e. eclipse with My eclipse plugin) in both UNIX and PC based environments

• Possess knowledge of XML/SOAP XML/XLST and any requisite specifications

• Must be able to work independently as well as with a team

• Possess excellent communication skills and be able to effectively interface with management and customers

• Must be able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Desired

• Strong user interface design and development experience

• Architecture experience for JSP/JDBC/J2EE (EJB, JMS)

• Development/deployment of client/server and web/mobile applications in a J2EE environment

• Strong knowledge of current J2SE/J2EE technologies including an understanding of availability, capabilities and limitations
