SAP
Payroll Analyst
ALLTECH is seeking an SAP Payroll Functional Analyst to become an
integral team member supporting the areas of SAP BW business process
design, configuration, deployment of multi-dimensional cubes, standard
queries, business procedures, and reports and production support.
Our client implemented SAP HR/Payroll and Time Management in 1999 and
implemented phase one of the mySAP system. They are currently in phase
two of this implementation, which includes MSS, ESS, EP, LSO, BI/BW and
Compensation. The client was an SAP ramp-up customer for ERP 2005 HCM
and Solution Manager 4.0., which replaced the 4.0b system in December
2006.
Description:
Day to day
management and support of our SAP Sandbox, Development, Quality and
Production environments, including, but not limited to:
-
SAP
System Monitoring (Logs, traces, locks, users, processes etc)
-
ERP
Performance Tuning
-
Kernel
Upgrades and Kernel Patch management
-
Transport Management System administration
-
Implementation and maintenance of SAP security
-
Provide
off-hour on-call support as a member of on-call rotation team
-
BW Data
Load Monitoring
-
BW
Performance Tuning
-
Provide
knowledge transfer to junior members of the NetWeaver support staff.

Manage
batch processes, disk space utilization, table size, memory usage,
system logs and other system components for maximum uptime and
performance
-
Proactively look for ways to improve business processes and
procedures.

Ability
to give clear and concise feedback to team lead and Managers
-
Use of
tactical and strategic planning and execution to accomplish
day-to-day as well as projects and initiatives
Tasks,
requests, and projects will be assigned to the analyst by the SAP
Production Support Manager. Completion of these tasks with associated
documentation, configuration, and solutions are the deliverables.
Required:
-
Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration or Computer Science, or
work equivalency
-
Formal
training in SAP Payroll
-
3 – 5
years SAP Payroll configuration and production support experience
-
5 – 7
years IT Business Application experience
-
At
least one SAP Implementation in the areas of HR or Payroll
-
Knowledge of the following SAP Technologies: NetWeaver 04 or 04s,
Enterprise Portal, BW/BI, Solution Manager, ERP
-
Strong
communications skills including written, verbal, presentation and
interpersonal
-
Experience in a large scale Corporate/Enterprise environments
-
Knowledge of performance monitoring/management tools
-
Ability
to work independently on multiple concurrent tasks
-
Demonstrated initiative and learning skills
